I am interested in corresponding with a witty, articulate, open-minded and understanding man; someone who is interested in developing a friendship that we both may come to appreciate. I am not necessarily searching for "Mr. Perfect". In my opinion, the ideal man is someone who is kind, gentle and thoughtful. Someone who lives his life to the fullest. Age and looks are not as important as what is in his heart. I could fully appreciate a man who will allow me to enrich his life and who will enrich mine. I am college educated with a bachelor's degree in physical education. I am also a certified instructor in dance education with 18 years of dance training, and 25 years as a teacher of ballet, tap and jazz dance. I am a certified gymnastics teacher and aerobics teacher. I taught pre-K through 12th grade students as well as adult country-western swing and line dancing. Ever sine the 1980's "Urban Cowboy" trend, the two-step, three-step, cotton-eyed-Joe and waltz have been really BIG in Texas. I have many interests and I am the "Texas Country Girl" personified. I spent most of my life on a ranch or a farm and I love horses, cows, roping, riding and rodeos. I was once a champion in ladies bull riding. I enjoy camping and water sports like boating, water skiing and fishing. I love landscaping and studied it intensely for several years. I am considering continuing my education to include a degree in agriculture and horticulture. I am interested in the "Old South", the restoration of it's historic old plantation homes and their preservation. I love to shop for antiques and have collected many over the years. Primarily primitive wood items. I am presently doing extensive research on the California wine business, it's wineries and the making of good wines. I was raised on Texas barbeque, Cajun cooking and Soul food, and I consider myself a culinary expert in all three. However, I also do very well with French, Italian and Mexican cuisine, not to mention steaks, seafood and southern fried chicken. I truly love to cook and entertain. I can whip up delicious, simple meal for two or a 5 course gourmet meal for twenty. I was raised in the Piney Woods region of Texas and lived there all my life. I have never traveled much, but would like to do so in the future. I am 5'5½" tall and I weigh 127 pounds. I have long, chestnut brown hair and hazel eyes. I am 1/16th Choctaw Indian (the other 15/16 is German-Irish), and my skin is a golden tan. I have always taken good care of myself, I am very physically fit and I do not look my age. However, I am proud of my age and the knowledge that comes with it. I am a caring, compassionate, considerate, intelligent, loyal and funny lady.
